Happy May Day! We are especially excited about this new month because it comes with so many wonderful events – Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14 and we have a couple of procedures that mom will love.
Allergen has added two new fillers and we are so happy to have them at Abbracci!
Juvederm Volbella XC is the newest FDA-approved injectable to be added to the Juvederm line of dermal fillers. It is a lip augmentation treatment that is formulated with hyaluronic acid to plump the lips, as well as minimize the appearance of vertical lines around the mouth. It is actually the first lip filler that is FDA approved to specifically address vertical lip lines, so it is perfect for those who have expressed concern about the appearance of aging lips.
As you may know, hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that is found in our bodies, and is one of the compounds we lose as we age (which results in thinning, sagging skin).
What we are loving about Volbella XC is that it is a smaller particle size, which subtlety plumps the lip area for a natural look. As with Juvederm Ultra XC, Volbella XC is formulated with a small amount of lidocaine, which is a local anesthetic designed to reduce pain at the injection site. Additionally, Volbella has been proven to last at least one year.
During the month of May, we are offering Juvederm Volbella for $395 (regularly $495).
The other new product from Juvederm is Juvederm Vollure XC, which is designed to smooth parenthesis lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. While it’s good to use creams and serums daily to address these areas, they are topical and can only help the top layers of the dermis. Juvederm Vollure XC goes deeper and adds volume to the area to smooth the lines and folds, resulting in subtle, longer lasting results.
In fact, Juvederm Vollure XC has been proven to last up to 18 months, which is fantastic because most other fillers only last about a year! As with Juvederm Volbella XC, Juvederm Vollure XC contains lidocaine to help with pain.
During the month of May, we are offering Juvederm Vollure for $595 (regularly $695).
We’re not done yet! We have one more special for you!
When you think about neurotoxins, most people automatically think Botox, the injectable treatment that relaxes the muscles that cause frown lines, forehead lines and crows feet. But there’s actually another injectable on the market called Dysport, and while it’s similar to Botox, it has some differentiating attributes.
Both Dysport and Botox are a type of botulinum used to relax facial muscles. Dysport is comprised of a smaller-sized molecule, so the measurement of units is usually different. For reference, 60 units of Dysport is equal to 20 units of Botox. Like Botox, Dysport must be injected every 3-6 months, although some patients report longer results.
It is also noted that Dysport ‘spreads’ more than Botox during injection, which means that larger areas (i.e. forehead) may require fewer injections because of this. One of the other differences is that Dysport works faster than Botox – so where it may take up to 7 days for Botox to become visible, Dysport results can usually be seen in as little as 3 days.
Our price for Dysport is $4 per unit. For the month of May, we are offering $50 off a minimum of 60 units.
Give us call to discuss any of these injectable options – we’re very excited about Juvederm Volbella XC and Juvederm Vollure XC and would love to answer any questions you may have!
Additionally, the boutique has been updated with beautiful stock from PJ Salvage, Lollia and a new natural bath & body line from The Cottage Greenhouse. Still can’t decide what to get mom? We have gift certificates too!
